When do you need a KF Oven?

  • Sample cannot be completely dissolved (plastic particles, polyester, synthetic bone, etc.)
  • Sample may have side reaction with KF Reagent  (lubricating oil additives, the Sample containing aldehydes or ketones, etc.)
  • Moisture in the sample is released slowly
  • Moisture in the sample is released only in high temperature condition
  • Sample contaminates the titration vessel (e.g., lubricating grease)

What is the shortcoming of traditional KF Oven?

  • The highest temperature can only reach 250℃. Traditional KF Oven is not applicable to the samples that release moisture completely above 250℃, such as salts.
  • The  thermal conductivity of traditioanal oven which is made of cheap aluminum is not good enough. It may cause large temperature difference between detection spot and sample bottle.
  • Some still use monochrome display and page turn menu (just like the cell phone 20 years ago), very hard to operate or set.
  • Only high-end model is able to inject samples automatically. Other models need users to inject samples manually,  boring and inefficient.
  • Some traditional KF Ovens still use tube furnace technology. Tube furnace has large dead volume, easily causes cross-contamination and equilibrates slowly.

Headspace Sampling


Headspace sampling technology ensures each determination to be processed in a "new vial" . No cross-contamination.
Because of no need to transfer the sample, the result is more accurate.

Small Dead Volume


The volume of vials is very small. As a result, the dead volume and background moisture value are very small.
The screwed cap is convenient to use without need of any tool;

Isothermal Heater


Integrated heater is made of red copper which has the best thermal conductivity. This feature maximally minimizes the temperature difference between the sample and the heater.

Mass Flow Control


High precision mass flow controller, convenient and accurate.
Resolution: 0.1mL/min

Tansfer-line Heater


The transfer-line with independent heating function avoids the vaporized water from condensing in the transmission process.

Automatic Injector


Click START, the injector goes down into bottle automatically, test is processing.
When test is finished, the injector lifts up automatically.

The data of the temperature and the air flow is recorded at real time and saved in the tablet.
